Recipe for “Tzatziki” Dip with “SantoSpices mix for Tzatziki”
Ingredients
1 cup (250-300g) of Greek Yogurt (strained yogurt)
1 medium cucumber
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp of white wine or apple vinegar
1 tsp of “SantoSpices mix for Tzatziki” seasoning
Adjust the amount of seasoning to your taste. We suggest adding less initially, letting the ingredients absorb into the yogurt, tasting, and then adding more if needed.
Directions
Peel the cucumber, and grate it with a cheese grater (large blades).Â
Squeeze the cucumber with your hands to release any remaining liquid and strain it.
Discard the liquid and add the cucumber to a mixing bowl.
Add 3 tbsp olive oil and 1 tsp of white wine or apple vinegar.
Combine the yogurt and add the “SantoSpices mix for Tzatziki” seasoning.
Mix slowly until it is combined and creamy.Â
Cover the bowl and let it sit in the refrigerator for at least 20 to 30 minutes.
